## File Metadata Guide

The following file-level metadata is available via NDS for AWS.

| security-ntacl | **Base64 encoded NTFS ACLs. *QJACpABIAAQ…truncated…AAUhmGmgzTwQAAA==*** Contains encoded NTFS ACL metadata. While it can be decoded and used downstream from NDS, doing so requires custom tooling beyond the scope of Nasuni support. Any SIDs included in this attribute must be resolved against the appropriate Active Directory domains. This attribute is presented for advanced use cases and is not recommended for general integration. |
