Ops IQ Overview
Nasuni Ops IQ collects and reports appliance and volume data telemetry in the form of purpose-built dashboards. The Ops IQ dashboards are designed to give you clear, actionable insights into your environment. With these dashboards, you can:
- Monitor your appliance health and performance
- Learn how your data is protected and propagated across appliances in your environment
- Diagnose potential issues before they affect your users
These tools help you stay informed and proactive, ensuring a healthier, more efficient Nasuni environment.

Public Preview
Ops IQ is being launched in Public Preview to give all customers early access to these powerful new capabilities while allowing us to gather real-world feedback. During this phase, your input helps shape the final experience. While the core functionality is stable, features may evolve based on what we learn from customers like you. We encourage you to explore, experiment, and share feedback—it’s a key part of building a product that truly works for you.
Prerequisites
Requires version 9.15 or higher for all appliances (Edge/File IQ/HA Edge). No additional setup is needed for these dashboards.
Using these dashboards, you can view data since appliances were updated to version 9.15 or higher.
Note: Changes in the underlying metrics calculations can affect certain resource metric history.
Dashboards
Permissions
You need the following permissions to access the Ops IQ dashboards.
- View Appliance Dashboard
- View Volume Dashboard
Ops IQ permissions are enabled for the following pre-canned roles:
- Account Owner
- Super User
- Read Only
Note: These permissions are disabled for any custom roles. Admins with 'Edit Roles' (IAM) permission need to grant view permission to users with custom roles. After the update, users must re-authenticate for the new permissions to take effect.
