# Volume Configuration

The following table contains Nasuni recommendations for configuring volumes, based on the objectives for the volume. Configuration includes consideration of the following:

- Original volume protocol
- Additional volume protocol, if any
- Authentication
- Volume Permissions Policy
- Case Sensitivity
