# Web Access - Basic and Advanced Features

This article describes the capabilities available with Basic Web Access and the additional functionality available with an Advanced Web Access license.

## **Basic Web Access**

Basic Web Access provides core file interaction capabilities through the web interface, including the following:

- Included at no additional cost.
- Free for up to 100 unique users.
- SSO and MFA integration for secure access.
- Web-based file access: browser-based access to Nasuni file data, with no VPN or sync agent required.
- File and folder browsing with Office-like structure and visibility.
- Viewing documents and images.
- Playing audio and video files.
- Uploading documents, images, and videos to folders on the Nasuni Edge Appliance.
- Downloading documents, images, and videos from folders on the Nasuni Edge Appliance.
- Viewing file metadata such as file name, file size, and last modified date and time.
- Creating and sharing a link to a file.
- Creating and sharing a link to a folder.
- Viewing and accessing previous versions of files (when Previous Versions is enabled on the share).

## **Advanced Web Access (requires Advanced Web Access license)**

In addition to the features of Basic Web Access, an Advanced Web Access license enables enhanced sharing and local editing capabilities, including the following:

- Supports more than 100 unique users for enterprise-scale use.
- Opening documents directly in a desktop editor or viewer (Local Edit).
- Creating more than one shared link per file per user.
- Creating more than one shared link per folder per user.
- Emailing shared links from within the interface.
- Protecting shared links with one-time passwords.
- Editing and co-authoring of Microsoft Office files in Microsoft 365 for the web.
