Why are you receiving this notification?
This serves as a reminder of the End-of-Software-Support (EOSS)/End-of-Life (EOL) timelines for Nasuni Gen 3 (Dell 13G) hardware, which was last communicated in May 2024.
When does EOSS/EOL occur for 13G hardware?
EOSS/EOL for 13G hardware coincided with the release of Nasuni Edge Appliance (NEA) version 9.15.
With the release of NEA 10.0 in Q1 2025, 13G hardware will not be able to upgrade to this new version.
13G hardware will still be eligible for upgrade to any 9.15.X versions.
Note that hardware warranties for 13G models will not extend beyond July 31, 2024.
Which hardware models are affected?
NF-60-abc*
NF-200-abc*
NF-400-abc*
NF-440-abc*
NF-600-abc*
* “abc” includes any variation of numbers and letters in the model name.
What replacement options are available?
For customers requiring hardware systems, Nasuni recommends upgrading to 15G hardware models, including the N2050 and N4050 series. These models are fully supported and serve as direct replacements for 13G hardware.

What happens when 13G hardware reaches EOSS/EOL?
Software Updates: NEA version 9.15 is the final major version available for 13G hardware. No future major version updates will be provided (including version 10.0, planned for Q1 2025).
Patch Support: Nasuni will provide patches for version 9.15 until that version is no longer supported.
Troubleshooting: Nasuni will support software issues for 9.15 versions beyond EOSS/EOL until that version is no longer supported but will no longer troubleshoot hardware issues after July 31, 2024.
EOSS/EOL Milestones
EOSS/EOL Announcement: Formal notification to customers of upcoming EOSS/EOL milestones.
EOSS/EOL Date: The final date 13G models will receive full software support. Any existing valid hardware warranties will be honored, but warranty extensions will not be made available.
