Using Nasuni Web Access, you can use a web browser to access CIFS (SMB) share data (or NFS export data if multiple protocols are defined) stored in the Nasuni Edge Appliance.
Common Web Access Tasks
Action | Procedure |
Log in using your AD credentials | Navigate to the pre-configured URL your IT team has set up. |
Open a share or folder. | Click the name of that share or folder. The contents appear as a list. |
Sort the display. | Click the heading of a column, such as Type, Name, Size, or Modified. |
Upload a file to folder. | Click Upload files |
Download a file, several files, or a folder. | Click a single item, or Ctrl-click multiple items to select. |
Create folder. | Click Add Folder |
Create internal links to files or folders. | Select a file or folder. Click Share internal link |
Create external links to files or folders. | Right-click the item and select Manage shared links. Choose a protection level. |
Open a file. | Click the file name. If a preview is supported, it opens in the browser. |
View details about a folder or file. | Click View Details |
See other versions of a file. | Click View Details |
Delete a file or a folder. | Click a single item, or Ctrl-click multiple items to select. |
Show hidden files. | Click avatar in upper right corner, then click Settings |
Sign out. | Click avatar in upper right corner, then click Sign out. |
