Using Nasuni Web Access, you can  use a web browser to access CIFS (SMB) share data (or NFS export data if multiple protocols are defined) stored in the Nasuni Edge Appliance.

Log in using your AD credentials

Navigate to the pre-configured URL your IT team has set up.

Open a share or folder.

Click the name of that share or folder. The contents appear as a list.

Sort the display.

Click Sort . Select Type, Name, Size, or Modified.

Upload a file to folder.

Click Upload files . Navigate to files, or drag and drop files.

Download a file, several files, or a folder.

Click a single item, or Ctrl-click multiple items to select. Click Download. Your browser downloads items. Multiple files go to a .zip file.

Create folder.

Click Add Folder . Enter a name for the new folder.

Create internal links to files or folders.

Select a file or folder. Click Get internal link . Copy the text of the internal link URL for use elsewhere.

Create external links to files or folders.

Right-click the item and select Manage Links. Choose a protection level.

Open a file.

Click the file name. If a preview is supported, it opens in the browser.

View details about a folder or file.

Click View Details .
If the item is a folder, the folder name and the date it was last modified appear.
If the item is a file, its name, the date it was last modified, and its size are displayed.
To view previous versions of the file, click Click to View.

See other versions of a file.

Click View Details . Click Click to View.

Delete a file or an empty folder.

Select the item, then click Delete . In the dialog box, click

Delete.

Show hidden files.

Click Settings . In the dialog box, select Yes, then click

Save.

Logout.

Click Logout.
