Nasuni Service Advisory
#251023
October 2025
Upcoming Nasuni Orchestration Center (NOC) Maintenance Window
Why am I receiving this?
Nasuni will perform scheduled maintenance on the Nasuni Orchestration Center (NOC) on Saturday, October 25 at 9:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC-4).
Following the recent AWS East service interruption, Nasuni will restore the Virginia Global File Lock (GFL) service to its primary AWS region during this maintenance window. The operation is expected to take no more than two minutes to complete.
What impact can I expect from this event?
Impact from this activity is expected to be minimal. Only files with Global File Lock enabled will be affected during this maintenance window.
Users will be briefly unable to acquire or release global locks on files for the duration of the operation. Existing locks will be synchronized between the Oregon and Virginia regions and will not be impacted.
You may receive notifications in your NMC referring to communication errors with Nasuni.com during this period. These can safely be ignored.
This maintenance will only impact customers, volumes, and files that are configured to use the Virginia lock server for GFL. It will not affect GFL services in Oregon, Ireland, Frankfurt, Sydney, or Singapore.
Affected Versions
