Upcoming Nasuni Orchestration Center (NOC) Maintenance Window
The Nasuni NOC Team will be performing scheduled maintenance on our Nasuni Orchestration Center (NOC) which has the potential to cause minor disruptions to various NOC services. This maintenance window is to facilitate an upgrade to our production database in order to improve security and to continue our system's high rate of availability. The upgrade is expected to take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
The window is scheduled for Saturday, December 27th at 8 AM EST (GMT-5). The back-up window is Saturday, December 27th at 1 PM EST (GMT-5), should it be needed.
The following activities have the potential to be affected:
Provisioning a new appliance or doing a disaster recovery (DR) on an appliance will not be possible during this window.
Decommissioning an appliance through the Nasuni.com dashboard will not be possible.
Remote support capabilities will not be available.
Access to the Nasuni.com Portal (portal.nasuni.com and account.nasuni.com) will not be available.
A shared volume (Remote access = Enabled) will not be able to acquire a snapshot lock, so snapshots on shared volumes will be delayed until after the maintenance period.
You may receive notifications in your NMC referring to communication errors with Nasuni.com during this period. These can safely be ignored.
Note that Global File Lock will be unaffected during this maintenance window.
Affected Versions
All Nasuni versions are affected.
Required Action
Items 1-4 above should be avoided during this window. Item 5 above only needs to be monitored. Under normal conditions, these actions will retry if executed during the window, and will complete as normal once the maintenance window has closed.
