Upcoming Enforcement of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Nasuni Portal
April 2026
Dear Customer,
Nasuni will be enforcing mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the Nasuni-provisioned administrator account for all Portal customers, beginning May 19th, 2026. To align with our security posture, we want to ensure all accounts are secured before the enforcement date.
Who is impacted
All customers accessing the Nasuni Portal using the Nasuni-provisioned administrator account not enabled MFA. This does not apply to SSO users.
Required Action
Before May 19th, 2026, please enable MFA by visiting Account Settings - Multi-Factor Authentication in the Nasuni Portal. After enabling the MFA toggle, follow the steps outlined in the Nasuni Portal MFA User Guide to complete the setup.
Important Notes:
Beginning May 19, 2026, users who have not configured MFA will be prompted to complete setup before they can access the Portal. Portal access will not be available until MFA configuration is complete.
MFA enforcement only applies to the Nasuni-provisioned administrator account. If your organization uses SSO, your day-to-day Portal access is unaffected — however, the administrator account requires MFA to remain accessible after the enforcement date.
After initial configuration, MFA resets will require a support ticket.
Visit MFA Configuration documentation to learn more.
This notice does not apply to the Community Portal
We understand this may require adjustments for some users, including administrators. We encourage affected users to transition to SSO for multi-admin access.
Thank you for helping us strengthen our security posture. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to our Support team.
